  1. 1980s — Kenya

    The beginning

    Born and raised in Kenya, shaped by a family and community that valued education and service above all.

  2. 2007

    The technology foundation

    BSc Information Technology from JKUAT. Immediate transition into faculty — teaching became the lens through which practice sharpened.

  3. 2010 — 2016

    Africa, at scale

    Regional IT leadership at the Regional Centre on Small Arms. Fifteen African nations, thirteen data centers, one continent-wide capability lift.

  4. 2016 — 2021

    The move west

    Relocated to the United States. Amazon, Worldwide Tech Services, then Tufts Medicine — enterprise systems, at operational depth.

  5. 2021

    Doctorate

    Doctor of Business Administration, William Howard Taft University. The bridge from operator to strategist.

  6. 2024 — Present

    Nova Analytics International

    Founding CTO. Applied AI, agentic systems, healthcare intelligence — technology reoriented around outcomes.
